What’s it like?
A beginner yoga class is a gentle and welcoming introduction to the practice of yoga. It is designed for individual with little to no prior experience. The core of the class involves learning the basic yoga poses at a slow and accessible pace. Emphasis is placed on breathing, mindfulness and listening to one’s body. Beginner yoga classes aim to build foundational strength, flexibility and body awareness in a non-judgemental and calming environment.
